At Lakesite Accounting, our mission is to bridge the gap between business owners and their CPAs.

We are a mighty and close-knit team, located across four states, ready to partner with our clients to relieve the stressors of the bookkeeping process.

    Heather Moreland

    CEO / FOUNDER

    Heather and her husband, Robert, live in rural east Tennessee with their hound dog, Paisley. Since starting Lakesite Accounting in 2022, she has lived in multiple cities across the Southeast and Midwest. She loves hosting friends and family at their home and has a soft spot for hot tea, board games, and good conversations.

    Rebekah Risley

    ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

    Rebekah has been with Lakesite since April 2025. She is a wife of almost 10 years to Luke, and Mama to an almost-3-year-old daughter and infant son. When not working with Lakesite or keeping up with her kids, Rebekah enjoys spending time with family and friends or snuggling up with a good book and a cup of coffee.

    Bree Strickler

    ACCOUNTANT / TEAM LEADER

    Bree lives in Otis, Colorado with her husband, Jamie, step-daughter, and standard poodles, Max and Boomer. She has two sons, who both live in Fort Wayne, IN. She enjoys tennis, podcasting, and the gym.

    Barbara loves that numbers always tell a story. She enjoys immersing herself in the details and is a self-described “data nerd.”

    Taylor is a Chattanooga native. In her free time, she likes hanging out with her friends, laughing, and having a good time. One of her favorite things about Chattanooga is how the mountains look when the seasons change: it is one of the prettiest sights to behold.
